Hasn't ISRO achieve a lot at the fraction of NASA's budgets. Thank god we don't have those contracts. Do we have such stuff in India?
Yes it has. Necessity is the mother of all inventions. We don’t have private contractors building the whole widget as yet. And I don’t think it will happen in the next 2 decades.
